Exhibition Introduction:
The European Fine Chemicals Exhibition will be held in Cologne, Germany on June 4-5, 2025. The exhibition is held annually in cities with developed chemical industries in Europe and has been held for 37 sessions so far. I will serve as the designated organizer for the conference in China and be responsible for organizing the participation of Chinese enterprises.
Germany is the world's third-largest chemical producer and largest chemical exporter after the United States and Japan, with chemical giants such as BASF, Bayer, Evonik Degussa, and Langsheng. German specialty and fine chemicals occupy the most important position in the entire chemical industry structure, accounting for as much as 25.1%. The annual output value of Germany's specialty and fine chemicals industry is over 30 billion euros. As the most important chemical base in Europe, Germany will be the preferred country for Chinese companies to explore the European chemical market.
More than 380 companies from 24 countries including Germany, France, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Belgium, China, India, and the United States participated in the 2024 European Fine Chemicals Exhibition, covering an exhibition area of 18000 square meters. Renowned chemical companies such as Saltigo GmbH (Lanxess), CABB AG, Milton, Albemarle, etc. also participated. The two-day exhibition attracted a total of 8000 professional visitors from 64 countries including Germany, Switzerland, Italy, the United Kingdom, France, and India, representing a 15% increase in the number of attendees compared to the previous edition.
At the same time as the exhibition, multiple professional conferences were organized, including REACH regulation conference, Royal Society of Chemical Engineers (RSC) specialty chemicals seminar, pharmaceutical outsourcing optimal strategy seminar, and agrochemical industry conference, which greatly attracted visitors to attend and visit. During the exhibition, Syngenta will also hold a global supplier meet and greet event.
After years of accumulation, the audience of this exhibition is very professional. According to the organizer's statistics, by company category, 46% of the visiting audience are manufacturers, 31% are distributors, 6% are end-users, and 17% are other chemical related companies. According to audience job statistics, 29% are in the sales department, 19% are in the procurement department, 17% are senior managers, 14% are in the marketing department, 5% are in the research and development department, 5% are in market development, 4% are in the production department, and 2% are in customer service. The professional audience level ensures the exhibition effect of the enterprise. Every year, there are more than 120 Chinese exhibiting companies, including Sinochem Group, Sinopec Group, Zhejiang Hengdian, and Lianhua Technology, with a repeat participation rate of over 65%. Many companies have participated in exhibitions for 7-8 consecutive years.
